Characteristics of gas boilers using condensing heat of waste gases and requirements concening installation and operation of the boilers are presented in the paper there.

The dynamic thermal interacion between a bui/ding and the HVAC systems which service it, is stili difficult to predict. As this thermal interacition becomes more critical in practice, related knowledge and evaluation tools become increasingly important. ft is argued why these need to be based on an integral approach of the overall problem. A research project aimed at development and/or enhancement of building performance evaluation tools for this field of interest is outlined. The work involved expansion of an existing building energy simulation environment on the fluid flow and plant simulation side. Application of this integral simulation system is demonstrated by means of a case study.

Rooms of the class 5 and the class 6 are clean rooms too. We like to speak about High Tech in micreolectronics, about 4-, 6-, or 64 MB chips and about classes of clean rooms 1-, 1 or -,1 but problems of rooms with lower classification are often without right omitted. ft is a long while since one has to learn in industry about economical improvement of products when simple and low price clean rooms are used there. The other branches besides electronics as optics, precision engineering, pharmaceutical industry, medical technics and food-stuff industry very long time ago have used clean rooms technics in the classes 5 and 6.

Article provides a summary of current knowledge of generation of ozone and nitrogen oxides during shielding gas arc welding. Measurements of ozone, nitrogen dioxide and aerosols concentrations in working environment of five robotized workplaces are presented.

Problems of the heat pumps utilization for heating of glass- and foit houses having respect to specific demands of the cultivated plants are discussed in the paper. Some exmples of heating with utilization of geothermal water energy by heat pumps are presented there.
