The paper deals with connecting the heat source (or sources) via thermohydrauNc distributor. Universal solution of this problem is presented, an example of practical appNcation is given as well.

Author deals with evaluation of negative impacts of environment on different kinds of museum exhibits. In the contribution also optimum environment conditions are recommended for exhibited objects.

ln the contribution the project design describes the source for centralized heat supply for one village with combustion of straw eventually wood chips. Ecological advantages are pointed out that has replacing coal by biomass - renewab­le source of energy. Technical solution is complemented by economic analysis of operating costs and also social advantages for village people are presented. The heat source has been operated for the second heating period, it was delivered by Czech manufacturers and represents the pilot plant which could serve as example for analogous projects.

The article presents the correct dimensioning of mixing fiffings for heating systems and advantages and disadvantages of some types of heat source connection. For easy understandíng methods of dímensioning mixing fittings (flap valves and valves) also concrete examples of calculations are presented. The article was originated as free translation, modification and complementation of materials of the firm Víessman with its kind permission.

The paper presents typical applications and design rules for hydronic radiant heating panels in industrial halls, where steam is used in primary energy systém. Practical examples of connections and location of panels are given.

The contribution deals with transparent materials, namely with their physical, thermal-insulating and luminous properti­es, with mutual comparing these properties and with suitable applications. It discusses translucent materials utilized as transparent materials.
