Specificities of air conditioning of railway vehicles determinated for high running speeds are presented there. Modernization of heating, venti/ating and automatic temperature control of loca! and suburban traffic vehicles is discussed there. Heat conditions in the engine drive's cabin as a constituent part of safety of operation are mentioned there too.

The possibility to use an equipment with the controlled atenuation of temperature oscillations for automatic control of an air conditioning system with close temperature tolerances and for making the operation of thermaly inertial heating systems more economical is presented in the paper there. Intentional introducing of pulses into automatic control systems allows to bridge over difficulties fetched along by dead time of the controlled system.
