The article gives basic data on designing active solar systems under the CSFR conditions.

The ventilation of air-conditioned rooms depends upon geometrie conditions, upon quantity of motion of the expired air and upon boyancy forces causing free flow. The author specifies such systems as displacement ventilation systems, describing their properties, application and operation experience. We recommend the article for study mainly to designers.

The article reveals the readers's attention to the topical relevance of the instalation partition as to a progressive element of hygienical devices in buildings. Preconditions for their use, their lay-out, as well as constructional possibilities and priorities in completing constructional units are introduced here.

The article discribes the problems of noise and regularities of technical acoustics. ft is the first of the series of articles which are to explain the principles of the branch of the environmental technics and the related branches. The effort of the authors of the individual articles of this series is to give a comprehensive information system in the form of the instruction courses (3rd.continuation).

The paper contains a calculation method of the air state behind the cooler at air humidity condensation. A calculation procedure ofthe average surface temperature ofthe cooler is given, being as well practically examplified.

The article raises the problem of operation and maintenance of the technical equipment of the environment technic, and in a broader sense even of the technical equipment ofthe buildings as a kind of made-to-order supply. The actual approach of the owners is pointed out and the advantages the modem way of equipment operation would bring forth are specified. The author assumes that the article would provoke concemed discussion to the given theme.
